National Thank You Note Day

Coming on the heels of Christmas, when many gifts are given, National Thank You Note Day recognizes the importance of showing gratitude, being a time when gift-givers are shown how much their holiday gifts are appreciated, by being sent notes of thanks. These usually are handwritten notes, often on cards, which might say "thank you" on the outside and have a blank spot for a note on the inside. Thank you notes provide more meaning than just saying "thank you" or giving a thank you card without a note in it.

How to Observe National Thank You Note Day

Write thank you notes to family and friends who gave you gifts for the holidays. Those who didn't give you gifts could still be given notes, out of gratitude for other things they've done for you or things you appreciate them for. Hand your thank you notes to them in person or send them in the mail!
