National Love Your Red Hair Day is a day that was created to empower redheaded women to love their hair, and to remind women of all hair colors to love who they are. It was created by Stephanie and Adrienne Vendetti, founders of How to be a Redhead, a website dedicated to celebrating the beauty of redheads. Stephanie and Adrienne noticed days such as Kick a Ginger Day existed, and wanted a day for redheads with a more positive message. The first National Love Your Red Hair Day was celebrated on the final Rock it like a Redhead Beauty Tour stop in 2015.
How to Observe National Love Your Red Hair Day
If you have red hair spend the day loving it! There are plenty of things on the How to be a Redhead website to help you do just that! If you don't have red hair, just spend the day being uniquely you! That is what the day is really all about! If you know someone who has red hair, make sure to tell them what day it is, and compliment them on their hair!
