Unique Names Day

Unique Names Day takes place during Celebrate Your Name Week, which occurs during the first complete week in March each year. It is a day to celebrate and acknowledge those that have a unique name. Throughout their life, they have had to repeat their name multiple times to people who didn't understand what they said the first time, and have had a hard time finding key chains and other souvenirs with their name emblazoned on them. Today they will be ignored no more!

How to Observe Unique Names Day

Celebrate the day by letting your friends with unique names know that you appreciate them and the difficulties they may have faced throughout their lives because of their names. Maybe you could have a party for them, or give them something with their name on it. Today could also be a day to learn some more unique names.
