National Matchmaker Day

National Matchmaker Day "raises a toast to the people who bring lovers together," by honoring, celebrating, and giving thanks to those who play matchmaker for their friends. They know the interests, values, and passions of both of their friends, which puts them in an ideal position to play cupid. While some matchmakers are successful, others only aspire to be. But all are celebrated today for their efforts. National Matchmaker Day was created by ArtCarved Bridal, makers of custom fine jewelry, including engagement and wedding rings and bands.

How to Observe National Matchmaker Day

Some ways you could celebrate the day include:

• Honor the matchmakers who bring lovers together and share a matchmaker story. If you have a matchmaker, send them a note of thanks or celebrate and share their story on social media. If you've been a matchmaker, you can share that story too. Use the hashtags #NationalMatchmakerDay, #ShareYourStory, and #ArtCarvedBridal.
• Be a matchmaker!
