World Stationery Day

Pencils are sharpened, letters are written, and envelopes are sealed today. It's World Stationery Day, an event that takes place on the Wednesday of National Stationery Week! Both the day and the week celebrate writing by hand, get people to share their favorite stationery products, and encourage people to send more letters and cards.

How to Observe World Stationery Day

One way to celebrate is to take out some paper and a writing utensil and write some letters to your friends. You could also write notes on cards and mail them to loved ones. Perhaps you have some favorite stationery products or retailers that you could share with others about. There are other suggestions for ways to get involved on the National Stationery Week website.
