Spinach Festival Day

Spinach Festival Day celebrates spinach and the many festivals held in its honor. Alma, Arkansas, is also described as hosting an annual spinach festival in April, and both communities have claimed the title “spinach capital of the world.” The holiday’s precise creator is not documented in the available evidence, so its connection to these festival traditions is best described as an account rather than a confirmed origin.
